I have been a patient of Dr. Ashouri for more than 20 years and now that I am relocating outside the USA I do not want to leave without sharing my experience at his practice. From the very first visit to Dr. Ashouri\'s Alexandria practice back in the mid 90\'s, I have been treated with courtesy and kindness. The front desk staff along with the dental professionals are the practice\'s \"A\" team. Dr. Ashouri is an outstanding professional, and having trusted the overall health of my teeth during such a long time says more than words can express. Nothing escapes his eagle eyes, and uses easy-to-understand words to explain procedures needed to be done. And while my friends and office colleagues have had their teeth removed by other doctors as \"the best solution,\" Dr. Ashouri\'s main concern has always been \"lets try to save your tooth.\" And I can proudly show my brightest smiles with a complete set of teeth. And the Ashburn practice is Alexandria\'s twin. On the occasion of a painful emergency I had to visit this practice years ago. The front desk staff was absolutely understanding and thoughtfully took the initiative to coordinate my transportation after the procedure, given the effects of the anesthesia and discomfort; I\'ll be forever in debt. Dr. Ashouri\'s pure dedication and caring for patients make him unique in an environment where health insurance administrators and money talk. More than a dental-care provider, Dr. Ashouri is a dear friend who jointly with his team--my dear girlfriends--has worked very hard throughout these years to find the best possible (and impossible) ways to keep my teeth healthy. It will be extremely difficult to find another practice at my new location that will match Dr. Ashouri\'s.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ashouripour for nearly ten years, after having been helped by several other dentists in my life. I noticed immediately the sincerity of his listening and genuinely patient explanations of the task he would perform. This included thoughtful analysis and explanation of a long-term plan (I needed work). One of the most important doctor-patient connections I've felt from the beginning is his tender and non-judgmental regard. Another is the commitment he has shown me in going the extra mile in doing the job right, even when it was very difficult and more time-consuming -- it certainly seems to be his genuine professional ethic and commitment to his patients. And finally, I have been amazed at Dr. Ashouripour's skill. There have been difficult procedures for saving teeth, for root canals, extractions and implants. All done successfully without arousing fear in me throughout. I am nearing the end now of an overall transformation of my teeth, a task that seems almost miraculous. My total experience with Dr. Ashouripour has definitely exceeded that with previous dentists in every aspect of his service. The same is true for Dr. Ashouripour's staff. They work with the same quiet, genuine care and personal regard. They're efficient and skillful as well, without any fanfare. They're alert, and have a kind way of calming a patient by supporting a potentially tough procedure as though it were routine. My needs have meant that we (doctor and staff) have come to know each other well. I am very grateful for them all, and have grown in fond affection for them.
